Policy Innovation

Our Policy Rebuilding and Entrepreneurship Program for African Youth is designed to empower young people aged 12-18 with the skills and knowledge needed to make a positive impact in their communities. The program is focused on three key areas: policy rebuilding, policy restructuring, and entrepreneurship, with a specific emphasis on Africa-focused case studies and challenges.

Climate Change Innovation

Through a series of interactive and engaging sessions, participants will learn about the impact of climate change on Africa and identify opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship in this space. They will also gain practical skills such as market research, business planning, intellectual property, and pitching and presenting, with a focus on the African context.

Agricultural Research and Innovation

The program is tailored to the African context and covers topics such as sustainable agriculture, climate-smart farming, precision agriculture, and agribusiness management. It is delivered through a combination of interactive lectures, practical exercises, group projects, and case studies.

Financial Inclusion and Innovation

Our program is designed to provide a fun and engaging learning experience that will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the world of financial innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa.

Change Innovation

Over the course of this program, you will learn about cutting-edge technologies, design thinking, business model development, impact investing, and more. You will also have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers who are leading change-makers in Africa, and participate in hands-on activities that will challenge you to think creatively and innovatively.

Energy Innovation

Throughout this program, you'll embark on a thrilling journey to explore the fascinating world of energy innovation, focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities faced by African communities. With the help of our experienced instructors and cutting-edge resources, you'll gain a deep understanding of renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydro power, and learn how they can be harnessed to transform lives and economies.

Meet the Founders

The team is led by two founders with a passion for business, technology, agriculture, the youth and Africa.

Edith Njage

Director

Edith Njage holds a MSc in International Business with a major in Disruptive Innovation and an MSc in Finance, both from HULT International Business School.
Edith is the newly appointed Board Member for the AIESEC International Supervisory Group (presence in 109 countries), advising the lead team in Canada.
​Edith is the Co-Founder of Arielle for Africa LTD which supports, advises and provides venture building to entrepreneurs across 7 African markets.
Mentor to 3,656 young people in Africa for 9 years as the recently appointed Chair of the Board of Beyond (consortium of 4 entities) which has created over 260,000 jobs in 12 African countries.
Vice President of the Hasa Growth Network, your one-stop-shop for all your executive and board talent acquisition, capacity building, cross-continental expansion, technology solutions and a new approach to strategy.
She is a Certified Business Coach and has been awarded an associate member title of Association of Business Executives; worked with over 70 cultures and has spoken on platforms around the world.
She maintains Exponential finance and business consultant skills used by companies all over Europe and the USA

Nandi Mkwanazi

Director

Nandi Mkwanazi is an award-winning entrepreneur and organic farmer; she is the founder of Nanloy Organic Farm and is invested in changing the African narrative in the areas of food security, climate change and solution- based education. She is one of 20 South African farmers selected for the Ecological Organic Agriculture pollinator project.
In 2019 Ms Mkwanazi launched a program called the Ayanda Organic Home and school gardens. The training program teaches the beneficiaries the entire process of food production and skills of growing their own organic food with a focus on indigenous crops and vegetables.
She has been named as one of Mail and Guardian’s 200 Young South Africans for 2022, as a member of the African Women Agribusiness Network she is working to advance the agenda of women and youth in agribusiness and educating the youth about the opportunities available through the AFCFTA.
Ms Mkwanazi has recently been appointed as a program assistant at fatima al-fihri open university through the voluntary position she aims to use her career and business experience to contribute to the Universities growth and students development.
