Welcome to the Climate Change Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program for Africa’s Youth! Our program is designed to provide young people aged 12-18 with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to develop innovative solutions to combat climate change and foster entrepreneurship skills to build companies in this space.
Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing our planet today, and Africa is particularly vulnerable to its impacts. Our program aims to equip young people with the tools to tackle these challenges head-on, and to contribute to sustainable development in Africa.
Through a series of interactive and engaging sessions, participants will learn about the impact of climate change on Africa and identify opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship in this space. They will also gain practical skills such as market research, business planning, intellectual property, and pitching and presenting, with a focus on the African context.
Our program will cover a range of Africa-specific topics such as renewable energy, circular economy, sustainable waste management, and advocacy and policy for climate change. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from successful African entrepreneurs and innovators in climate change space, and to develop a business plan or project proposal for a climate change innovation specific to Africa.
At the end of the program, participants will have a deeper understanding of the climate change challenges and opportunities in Africa, and be better equipped to develop innovative solutions that address the continent’s unique needs. They will also have the opportunity to network with peers and mentors in the climate change space and access resources to continue developing their ideas beyond the program.
Join us in the Climate Change Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program for Africa’s Youth and be part of the solution to one of the greatest challenges of our time!
